7. SECOND MUHARRAM 1438

In the name of Allah,

Early in the morning, 2^nd of Muharram 1438, raining…. Woke my children and wife. 4.45 am, my wife already prepared a morning breakfast and school and office attire. My daughter asked me” Ayah, can we continue watching My Way (a Korean war story)?” she asked. While looking at my son prepared the “sejadah” for our “Subuh” prayer, “Sorry Aieesyah, today is a school day…. Weekend we finish the movies…” I told her. Without any response she just nodded and smiled back at me…...

Adzhan “Subuh” been reprised at the Best 104 channel. A few minutes later, we perform our solat sunnat “Subuh” together before we done our “solat Subuh”.  Meanwhile, the rain started to poured heavily with the thunder and lightning “hitting” each other fiercely…. After recited the “doa”, my son, Wazeef asked “Ayah, today I had to play a futsal at school, but I don’t want to play it. I wanted to take part in a rhythm aerobatic. Cikgu Zizan also wanted me to take it.” I just nodded and told him to be extra careful.  In my head “what is rhythm aerobatic?”

Exactly, 6.25 am, we go to our own separate destination. My wife and child go to Johor Bahru, me, myself go to UTM Skudai. The rain is still poured heavily…. I just pray to Allah, to protect them and me. They had to endured a long journey instead their father. 

May Allah grant me and family a strength to work and pray hard without forgetting Allah and Rasulullah.
