2. WHY AFTER 20 YEARS

Inner Demon

After many year  battling and struggling in life as a workaholic (almost costing my life), family men, brotherhood, neighborhood, financial problem and health problem, in age 40, I had to grab this precious time & year of my life to do something bigger and challenging.

After all the student that I had help in their study, in their extra curriculum and graduate became an officer at my workplace, a lecturer even became my Vice Chancellor in UTM, give a hint’s to get my life back to track.

My UTM

2016, when UTM is been audited by the KPT for Research University status……one of the Professor ask me are you a P.P (Assistant Register)?  I reply “No, I’m a E.O (Exec. Officer) Prof…. why Prof?” “You always in a front line in any of UTM audit. I thought you at least a P.P. What you name? … Where are your last degree?” he asks me. “I’m Isfareen , you can call me Is. I’m a diploma holder Prof…Dip. In Public Admin from ITM, …” I replied.

“Why not you further your study? You already at University……gain at least a degree…. Don’t be like a fish in the ocean…never change. How old are you?” In my mind “Apa hal lak Prof ni...” “I’m 40 year old Prof.” “Hah! that a great age…a ripe one if you are a fruit….Change grab a change to further study….. ” told the Prof. At that point, I just smiled and said “In Sha Allah, Prof….?” “Do it …and In Sha Allah, Allah with give you the strength to seek knowledge …IQRA…. ok …see you again” said the Prof before we had to fought with the auditor….

When I saw this Prof, he said REPEATEDLY (every time we see each other at mosque) when to continue your study. “Is, bila nak continue your study? You dah kat Menara Gading, grab the peluang yang ada. Jangan alpa , jangan bertangguh dan jangan terlalu berjangan ….. exactly the same word like it been recorded, for the past 6 months” That my turning point. That my wake up call.

May Allah blessed his life and made him among the righteous.
